FUTURE TRAILBLAZERS

Scholarship Programs

Investing in Women. Strengthening San Antonio.

The San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce Foundation proudly advances two performance-based scholarship programs designed for nontraditional students, both women and men, pursuing higher education:

The Mayor Emeritus Lila Cockrell Scholarship Program, launched in 2019 with Alamo Colleges Foundation, supports full‑time students working toward associate degrees or certificates.

The Rosemary Kowalski Scholarship Program, established in 2023 in partnership with Texas A&M University–San Antonio, provides four-year degree support for students seeking a broader academic path.

These programs remove financial barriers, promote degree completion, and build future leaders. To date, the Foundation has raised over $380,000, awarding scholarships and academic bonuses to 32 scholars, 21 of whom have already graduated—a graduation rate that reflects the power of targeted support.

By supporting these programs, donors invest not only in an individual but in a stronger, more educated, and more resilient San Antonio.

Join us in empowering the next generation of leaders.
